This module trains on all steps of the endovascular management of aortic aneurysms in the abdominal artery, from stent graft removal to post-treatment. CT data sets provide information in advance to specify the technical aspects for planning and dimensioning the stent graft. Training aims to familiarise trainees with the management of the complex procedures of aortic aneurysms in the abdominal artery, including selection and positioning of the correct stent graft and evaluation of the result. They will also learn how to manage complications and minimise X-ray exposure.
