PCI Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO)
This module provides training on all the steps needed to recanalize chronic occlusions and is designed for all levels, from beginners to experienced physicians. Beginners focus on tackling individual steps whilst experienced trainees will be challenged by difficult questions and findings which have an impact on decision-making, next steps and ultimate result.

CTOs are a common angiographic finding, accounting for 15% to 30% of patients who undergo cardiac catheterization. Nevertheless, clinical decision making regarding medications for revascularization, procedural techniques in treating these lesions, or even whether a CTO should be opened may be challenging issues.

Three instruments are available to operate independent from each another. Retrograde approaches can be applied. A diverse selection of instruments is available to cover either transradial or femoral access.
