CATHIS® RHC 2 is the innovative simulator for performing the right heart catheterization including thermodilution, ideal for cardiology and pneumology departments of university hospitals with focus on this procedure.
CATHIS
® RHC 2 provides two internal tracking systems which allow the display of two independent instruments (the navigation is supported by an additional guide wire).
During training with the CATHIS
® RHC 2 simulator medical liquids are used as in reality with the help of the S-HUB which enables:
- - the measurement of flow rate
- - the measurement of pressure for inflation of the Swan-Ganz catheter and flow rate
- - the performance of thermodilution via flow measurement of cold saline liquid
- - high fidelity display of hemodynamics
In combination with our CATHIS® S-HUB it is feasible to measure the use of liquids and pressures from the inflation device.
It enables adjustment of shutters for training of X-ray hygiene including display of radiation exposure of both patient and trainee. It enables biplane display of simulation (simultaneous, independent use of C-arms and table movement).
The combination with the Instructor Cockpit enables the trainer to control the entire simulation remotely in real time. Thus the trainee can focus on specific training sequences while the instructor manages the angio machine, C-arm, the selection of instruments, hemodynamics or even triggers the occurrence of unexpected complications such as an embolization at any time.
The documentation of learning history and the export of training data for evaluation enables the progress of training to be accurately assessed.
The CATHIS® Instructor Cockpit offers complete remote control in real time.
While the trainee focuses on specific training sequences, the instructor can manage the angio machine, angio suite, X-rays, C-arm, the selection of instruments, hemodynamics and even trigger the occurrence of unexpected complications such as an embolization at any time.
The Instructor Cockpit is available in various versions (fullscope - tablet; smaller editions with 6 - 15 buttons).
The device can be customized in terms of design and features to meet specific individual customer requirements.
